made me feel an intense sort of impending dread, both while watching the movie and when I left the theater. ive had a relationship before that felt all-consuming and to see that so accurately portrayed on-screen was insane. definitely part of why i think it blew up, but i think it's good to see those types of dynamics and know that they're bad. that paired with the fact bear is a complete and total asshole, and the undeniable villain. i think men reflecting on that, or not, contributes to it's fame as well.
